Pressed not Stressed was established in 2015 by Jackie and Michael. We are committed to providing the very best Laundry and Ironing services in the Chester-le-Street area, Penshaw, Houghton-le-Spring, Birtley, Seaham, Durham, Washington & Great Lumley!


At Pressed not Stressed, we prioritise our customer service ethos over everything else. We believe in providing the best service possible, and giving you peace of mind that your laundry or cleaning has been handled by a company that really does care.

We offer our services in Chester-le-Street and the surrounding area, Penshaw, Houghton-le-Spring, Birtley and Seaham. If you don’t see your hometown there, don’t worry! Just pick up the phone and ask us if we cover that area.


We are completely transparent with our pricing, and upfront with every customer who uses our service. All costs are subjective to the size of your load and your requirements.
